About Chris

Chris der Kinderen leads project delivery across Asia Pacific at Vontier, the parent of Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Invenco, which supply fuel dispensers, forecourt systems and payment technology to fuel retailers. Based in Kuala Lumpur, he works with customers, commercial teams and senior management on delivery, pricing input, forecasting and regional expansion, and helped align project delivery and operations after the business changed ownership.

Before Vontier he spent more than three years as Project Delivery Manager for Invenco and Project Manager for Gilbarco Veeder-Root, running forecourt technology programmes for some of the largest oil companies in Malaysia and India, including foundational engagements with Petronas. The programmes he delivered exceeded US$70 million in value. He was then briefly Head of Product at GIFT.ed.

His earlier career covers eleven years at Shell in the Netherlands, where he led global service delivery for the Legal function, moving operations support to a lower-cost region and introducing document and contract management systems for around 1,200 staff, and a period as programme manager at the streaming service iflix in Kuala Lumpur.
